Reverse culture shock: come what may

After all that time in Ecuador, one thing really caught my attention when I was back in Holland: everyone is so good at planning and organizing! And everyone likes to use these skills to create "guarantees" (?) and to prevent surprises from happening... A little cultural difference: I don't have the talent or the interest to do that. Come what may. And you don't have to do anything about it, for things to happen :P.
